A wise man said once, Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results.
Afro-centrists oriented forums are full of good intentions and declarations towards the empowerment of Afro/black business creative forces especially in this historically global White-supremacist led economy, however, we are still yet to see tangible concerted actions that could benefit our overall financial position, permanently. Afro-descent people have the reputation of settling to economics patterns recommended by Westerners and this, since the sinister 19th century Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, where Africans were advised in summary, to sell raw metals for a bargain and import rip-off type of European and now Asian products in exchange. Today, too many Africans are still following suits into these win-lose financial roadmaps, including buying Asia made hair extensions for billions of USD, meaning that Asians get to sell their hair, hence generating money to send their children to school.
Meanwhile, some unemployed African women borrow money or engage in prostitution to buy sleek and shiny extensions imported from Asia, diverting away money they could use to buy land or to send their children to school, all of this to the appreciation of some of the African men, among them religious leaders, who repeatedly fast and pray for the improvement of the African countries' economies.
Doesn't sound like madness to you?
But something more sinister is at play especially in the digital world, where Afro-descent people candidly spent most of their time engaging on the big players' social platforms to the expense of their own economic and social advancement.
There is not enough data available or insightful stories at our best knowledge regarding the validity of all this time and sometimes advertisement $ spent by African countries and Africans from the diaspora on Facebook, Instagram and the likes, however, looking at African Americans economic state in the USA can be a good proxy to assess if we are winners when piggybacking on the Westerners' value proposal for the world.
The first question we must ourselves before embracing anything put forward by Westerners is whether it guarantees our prosperity and leadership position in the world. Anything other than that is disguised slavery and we must stay clear from it at least for those who want to see a better future for ourselves.
So how can we take back our digital Black dollars?
I have a question to my readers, how many of you have ever created an account on an African and/or Black-owned social media platform? How many of you, take the time to vet companies ownership and final beneficiaries before labeling them as Africans? How many of us spare a few minutes investigating those who sell us products and services to ensure that our dollars do not go to people who do not have our best interests at heart?
What is the value-added of all of these Black millionaires and billionaires who have vowed to support a better future for the Global Black Family, if themselves and their team cannot help us gather insightful data and stories that help us come up with informed decisions on a daily basis?
Most of us have a diffused impression of being screwed in this system but yet we are not able to convince our Black masses that it is big time to ruthlessly strategize as they are strategizing against us.
Do you know that anytime you open a White-owned online media outlet and these mainstream social platforms and start clicking on their pages, your clicks are converted to money that is re-injected in the White-supremacist economy. Yet you are ignorant of Afro/Black-owned online platforms struggling to get your clicks.
Why do the above matter? It matters because one of the truth that is concealed from us is that Black people represent the most populous group in the earth, before the Chinese.
This information is concealed from us through various ethnic and religious narratives carefully built over centuries and dividing us into so-called mutually exclusive groups such as Afro - Americans, Afro-Cubans, Nilotics, Moors, African Hebrews, Australian Melanesians, Sudanese, Congolese, Zulus, Tutsis, Mulaters, Mixed raced, Africans, Indians Sidis, Black Indigenous Americans, Hutus, Cushites, Negroes, Twa, Jamaicans, Khoisans, ADOS etc.
We identify with these groups, signing off for offline tribal and online forums wars and yet we share the same story, a story of being screwed by the global systems just because of our idolatry towards their lies and ideological constructs.
Let us be clear about one thing, you might identify today as a Moor and reject so-called Africans, but it does not matter, because at any moment you might turn into a stat joining thousands of Black people imprisoned and shoot by the police for not complying with White supremacy silly caprices.
They divided us to conquer us
And then we rushed to create accounts on their online platforms, and some of our African leaders are still running like headless chickens to take orders when the World Economic Forum calls for meetings. African gets to get on Westerners' agenda through all these multilateral agreements that have done no good to our people over the last decades.
To take back our digital Black dollars we must embrace the truth, Blacks are one global people victim of the same things and we represent already the most numerous group on earth
Europeans started studying us centuries ago, they've been digging African archeologic sites left and right for ages (While stealing most of our artifacts and monetizing them in their museums in London' British Museum and Paris' Louvres to name a few ). Below is a list of the White-owned museums with the most African artifacts across the world.
But firstly, let us share this picture below, showing the stunning similar face features of one of our Black brother to Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaton bust to silence eternally naysayers leftovers who are still conveying the message that Ancient Egyptian civilization was a White civilization and that Pharaons looked like these Hollywood White actors covered by orange tan and heavy layers of black eyeliners and that Black African people never had a civilization and were jumping from trees to trees throwing coconuts at each other before Europeans came to Africa.
The objective here is not to cover the many Africa based civilizations, Pharaonic Egypt is just one of them. they were many others.
We must strategize and drive our digital presence and money thereof ourselves
And yes, 2020 might the year where we decide that Africa is a country moving forward. We mean AFRICA and all its diasporas, including the moors, Black Hebrews (Who forgot that 'Negro' is Spanish word for Black and that 'Afri'/ 'Afer' (plural) root for the African word means Black) and ADOS is A country, the great Black Nation.
